Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies (TPIMS) is currently seeking established Principal Investigators (Faculty) to join the Institute's research operation in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Port St. Lucie is a wonderful place to live and work with a low cost of living (no state income tax in Florida) and numerous outdoor activities (inlet and Atlantic Ocean). TPIMS offers an excellent research environment with all of the support necessary to allow its PIs to focus solely on research. Additionally, TPIMS encourages PIs to seek commercialization opportunities, including starting new businesses.
TPIMS has established operations as part of the growing biotechnology cluster in the Sunshine State and is now operating in a state-of-the-art 107,000 square foot building in the Tradition Center for Innovation. Port St. Lucie is a beautiful community on the east coast of Florida in St. Lucie County, located within a 2 hour drive from Orlando, Miami, and Daytona Beach. Port St. Lucie was recently named one of “America’s 50 most livable cities” by 24/7 Wall St.
Candidates should have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree, with an established record of extramural funding. TPIMS encourages all medical research disciplines to apply. TPIMS is recognized for its chemistry capabilities and extensive collections of compounds available for screening. As a PI at TPIMS, you will have access to these compound collections to advance your research programs.
